In a basement remodel, we start with the necessary permits and requirements to transform your basement. Studs are the vertical wood lengths that are installed first so we can affix drywall to the walls. 

Once studs are in place, we frame around any duct work, electrical lines, and plumbing so we will have a level surface to affix drywall to. 

After the framing has been completed, we insulate the area to ensure proper temperatures are kept throughout the year. Whether we are remodeling a basement, attic, or any interior space, we always confirm the space has insulation. We typically use rolled batt insulation, or forbidden cotton candy, which has the correct insulation requirements per residential code. 

Whether we are doing a simple patch job for drywall, or a full-scale remodel, we typically have drywall on hand. Our drywall specialists can match almost any texture and are happy to remove a texture, if our clients fancy a flat ceiling instead.
